To facilitate the fasting Muslims & to make the month of Ramazan easier, the Punjab government set up Ramadan bazars all across the province in this sacred month.

Ramadan Bazars are a common feature in Pakistan during the holy month of Ramazan. These special temporary markets offer a wide range of products including food items, clothing & household goods. The Punjab govt has taken the initiative to set up these markets to provide special discounts on eatable items for making them affordable for everyone in its jurisdiction.

Subsidy of Food Items in Ramazan Bazar Punjab 2024

This year again the Punjab government is going to establish Ramadan bazars in this year too. Chief Minister Punjab has given the approval of Punjab Govt Ramadan package 2024. Punjab government will give heavy subsidy on flour bags for providing them in these bazars. Special subsidy will also be given on ghee, sugar, dates, fruits, vegetables, pulses and spices.

Timing of Ramazan Bazar 2024 in Punjab

The Punjab govt has set up over 313 Ramadan Bazars across the province, providing easy access to affordable food items for the fasting community. These Ramazan bazars are open from early in the morning until late the iftar time for providing a convenient shopping experience for those who are fasting during the day.

Model Bazars in Ramazan 2024 in Punjab Province

More than 300 Ramadan bazars will be established in different cities of Punjab province. 32 model bazars will also be converted into cheap Ramadan bazar. Free sehar and iftar will be offered in more than 2000 Madni daastarkhawans in all cities and towns of province.

The prices of all essential food items have been significantly reduced to make them more accessible to the general public & specially the deserving people. The provincial govt has also ensured the availability of high-quality food items in these Ramazan bazars. The products available at these markets include fruits, vegetables, meat, spices, soaps, juices, beef, detergents, poultry, pulses, dairy products & other food items required during the month of Ramazan.

Punjab Ramadan Bazar 2024 Monitoring Cell

The Punjab govt has made it clear that it is their top priority to ensure the availability of essential food items at affordable prices in these Ramadan bazars. The Punjab govt has taken several measures to ensure that these markets are providing the best possible services to the people. The govt has set up a monitoring cell to keep an eye on the activities at these markets & to ensure that there is no hoarding or overcharging by the sellers.

Senior Citizen Camps & Free Home Delivery

There is a suggestion to give 5000 rupees cash to BISP card holders. About 40 billion rupees will be spent on it. As per another suggestion no electricity bill will be received in Punjab for one month up to 100 units. 25 billion rupees may be reserved for this. Senior citizen camps will be set up in model Ramazan bazar from where citizens of over 60 years will be given the facility of free home delivery.
