The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony, Govt of Pakistan is pleased to offer Federal Government Scholarships for Minority Students for the academic year 2022-2023.The Scholarships will be offered under the “Mora Scholarship” scheme announced by the honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan for the facilitation of Minority Students. The scheme is designed to support the educational aspirations of the talented and deserving students of the Minority communities across the country.
The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, financial need and social backwardness. The candidates who are selected for the Scholarships will be intimated through SMS/Email/calls or letters.
The Objectives of Mora Scholarship 2022 For Students From Minority Communities
The objectives of the scheme are to provide financial assistance to the talented and deserving students of the Minority communities for continuing their studies at the tertiary level, to improve the socio-economic condition of the Minority communities by creating opportunities for employment and to promote social cohesion and harmony in the society.
The scheme will also help in the realization of the constitutional rights of the Minority communities and will promote religious tolerance and brotherhood in the society.
Points To Be Remember about Mora Scholarships 2022 For Minority Students of Pakistan
1-Candidates who are availing any other scholarship are not eligible to apply for mora scholarships.
2-Applications only through the relevant educational institutes will be accepted.
3-Students who are studying in private educational institutes are also not eligible to apply for mora scholarship.
4-Candidates are directed to provide their contact number and email for getting any further required information.
5-Employer or head of educational institute will verify the income of father/guardian before attesting the income certificate.
6-Head of concerned educational institute will check that either all required documents have been attached with the application form by the student and he will send the list of eligible students with his covering letter to the ministry.

Eligibility criteria for the Mora Scholarship 2022:
The scholarships are being offered to Pakistani Christian, Hindu, Sikh, and Buddhist minority students who have got 50% marks in the annual exam during the last year. Monthly income of such students should be less than 50000 rupees. The students must be enrolled in an accredited educational institution in Pakistan.
Documents Required for the Mora Scholarship 2022:
The applicants must have the following documents in order to apply for the Mora Scholarship:
Income certificate of parents for the current year (Photocopy will not be accepted)
Bank account number for transfer of scholarship amount
Attested marks sheets of last annual exam
Attested copy of CNIC or form B of scholarship aspirant
There is no need of attaching the copies of father’s CNIC, domicile certificate and photographs
How to Apply for the Mora Scholarship 2022?
The Mora Scholarship is one of the prestigious and most sought after scholarships by the students of Pakistan. The Mora Scholarship is a need-based scholarship and is awarded to the meritorious and needy students belonging to the minority community in Pakistan. The scholarship covers the entire cost of education of the student up to the PhD level. The scholarship is renewable every year and the students who have availed the scholarship in the previous year are also eligible to apply for the scholarship in the subsequent year. Application form has been given in the newspaper ad and on www.mora.org.pk.
The applications for the scholarship are now open. The last date to apply for the scholarship is 07 Oct, 2022.
Mora scholarships 2022 are available for students belonging to Christianity, Hinduism, Ahmadiyya, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Zorastrianism. The main aim of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to Pakistani students belonging to minority communities so that they can pursue their studies without any financial burden. The Mora Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship and does not require any kind of repayment.
The interested students will be required to submit an application form along with the attested copies of their academic documents to the Imran Rasheed section officer (IH).
