In second phase vacations will be given in 12 districts of Punjab from 3 Jan, 2023 to 13 Jan, 2023. Notification has been issued in this regard by the education department Punjab. This schedule will be for both private and government sector educational institutes. No school, college will be allowed to change the schedule. Punjab is famous for its extreme weather. It means extreme hot in summer season and extreme cold in winter season. In such weather conditions its become impossible for students to attend the schools. As per the announced winter vacations schedule 2022 for educational institutes of Punjab the schools, colleges and universities located in the districts of Kasur, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Pakpattan, Sheikupura, Okara, Vehari, Khanewal, Lahore, Khushab, Hafizabad, Multan, Toba Tek Singh, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Sargodha, Mandi Bahaudin, Lodhran, Nankana Sahib and Jhang will remain close from 23-12-2022 to 6-01-2022.

In the districts of Rajanpur, Layyah, Jhelum, Mianwali, Attock, Muzaffargarh, Chakwal, Bhakkar, Rawalpindi, Rahim Yar Khan, DG Khan and Chiniot educational institutes will give the winter holidays for 03-01-2022 to 13-01-2023.
